The role of the community programme is to recognise projects that are delivered by grass-roots organisations that are having a positive impact on the communities that they serve across a diverse range of subjects. These include but are not limited to projects that; aim to improve skills, offer training, provide volunteering resource, benefit the environment, encourage participation in sport, or deliver youth engagement activities.
Successful project applications will be promoted on the Birmingham 2022 website and projects will be able to use, under licence, the new programme logo (subject to strict usage guidelines being followed) to amplify their activity in their communications.
If you know a worthy community cause, let them know about United by Birmingham 2022 today!
The United by Birmingham 2022 programme is for exceptional projects that support our mission. We award the licence to project and not to the organisation. Before you start this application form, please ensure you have a clear description of your project, including measurements of success, timescales and funding plans.
