Music charity The People’s Orchestra celebrates the Commonwealth with four collaborative music making projects that celebrate diversity, music, creativity and culture.
If you can play (or used to play) an instrument or can sing, why not join in? There are opportunities to join mass digital performances, learn new music and perform live through four projects:
Opportunity: The Rusty Players Orchestra and choir, made up of amateur players from across the West Midlands, join amateur musicians and singers from the Commonwealth for a mass virtual performance.
Spirit: Talented amateur composers from Commonwealth countries come together to create a new global piece of music.
Vision: Take part in a series of pop-up events that showcase creative music and art from the Commonwealth directly into the heart of West Midlands communities.
Curiosity: Orchestral groups, choirs and individuals from Commonwealth nations are invited to Birmingham for a series of events celebrating the best of art and culture, culminating in a special gala concert at Secret
