'Our Place Our Space' is a celebration of community and culture where residents, workplaces, community groups, volunteers, Youth clubs, artists, teachers, musicians, police officers, religious leaders, venues, restaurants, sports clubs, footballers, allotment gardeners, nature and conservationists, family, schools & neighbours etc, are all celebrated through the lens in our photography project.

We are celebrating community and culture so we would like to see as many different cultures being included. From dance to artists, food to prayer, religious holiday celebrations, everything that makes us special and proud. Our Place Our Space!!
How can I take part?
Are you a budding photographer? Would like to take part in a project in conjunction with the Commonwealth games?
We are recruiting photographers to help, part creating a final art piece and publication. Capturing community and culture across Hawkesley, Pool Farm, Druids Heath and Stirchley.
We will be holding a number of workshops and photography events inviting a wide spectrum of the community to participate and be part of the project.
Can I work alone and contribute?
Yes you can. If you lead a busy life or prefer to work on your own you can submit your photography via our dropbox folders for each area.
Our team will evaluate each picture for consideration to be included in the website and end of project publication.
