A project for the people of Hall Green Community to come together to develop and share art & craft techniques to create an artwork display at Highfield Hall, celebrating the arrival of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Join artist Sally Harper at Highfield Hall to create a series of small pieces that will be stitched together to create a large hanging. Kits will also be available for anyone not attending the sessions. The final artwork will be celebrated with a grand opening and share the creations with wider communities through postcards and social media.
There will be light refreshments, it’s a free event no booking required.
The final piece will be hung up in the main hall for the public to see for the coming year- please call the office on 0212 439 2690 to arrange a viewing and tour of the centre and the gardens.
