Table Tennis has been designated by International Neuroscience Fraternities as 'The World's Number One Brain Sport' - clinically proven to have a significant effect on the reduction of cognitive decline in those challenged with Dementia and markedly delaying symptom onset.

The Bounce Alzheimer's Therapy (BAT) Charity has been working closely with Neuroscience & Sports Science Teams to create specialised equipment that considerably enhances the therapeutic exercise intervention experience that this holistic treatment delivers. Working with various Birmingham Organisations, it has helped designate the City as the key Dementia Friendly Bellwether for Europe.

In order to raise awareness of this Initiative, BAT will position six specially-designed Table Tennis Therapy Tables across the region in 2021. They will also donate and present Therapy Tables to Birmingham 2022 participating countries.
