Getting to The Games

There will be no parking at or near the venue, except for limited pre-bookable blue badge spaces. Your Games ticket includes access to public transport within the West Midlands area on the day of your event (travel to Lee Valley VeloPark is not included), so it's the best way to travel.

Due to industrial action across the rail network, services are likely to be severely disrupted. On some days there may be no services and on other days there may be significant disruption. Additional park and ride services will be available in the event of strike action. Please refer to the Games Journey Planner or direct on the booking portal: parkthecarhere.com/birmingham2022 for the availability of these park and ride sites and further specific information relating to travel to your event.

We have a dedicated network of long distance coaches to help you get to the West Midlands: nationalexpress.com/commonwealthgames

Please leave extra time for your journey – all alternative travel options will be busy and delays are anticipated.
