Since officially opening in 2005, Coventry Stadium and Arena has become a world-class destination in Coventry. The Stadium can accommodate more than 32,500 spectators, with the capacity rising to 40,000 for music events, and is also home to Premiership Rugby Team Wasps and Coventry City FC.
It has witnessed some unforgettable sporting moments – from Coventry-born Andy Goode setting an Aviva Premiership Rugby record, with the most points scored in a single match – to Wasps recording their biggest ever win in the Champions Cup. Its record attendance to a sporting event was in 2015 with 32,019 Wasps and Leicester Tigers fans showing their support in the local derby. It is one of the country's leading conference and exhibition destinations, having won numerous national awards.
Arrive Early: Coventry Stadium opens 2 hours before the session start time. A limited number of Blue Badge parking spaces are available, linked to the venue by accessible shuttle bus. These need to be pre-booked.
Accessibility: Internally the venue has step free access. Externally there are some changes in level with ramped access round the building. There is will also be an accessible golf buggy service running to assist with the changes in gradient and distances across the site.
There will be a range of existing accessible facilities and temporary facilities, such as a changing places toilet.
